Mikeās Show āEvilā Renewed for Season 4
Itās official, Mikeās show EVIL has been renewed for season four. Mike plays the part of priest-to-be David Acosta. Not sure what this might mean for his possible return to LUKE CAGE given Paramount Plus and Disney+ are competing streaming services, but we can dream. Given what weāve seen with he and Krysten Ritter recently hanging out together one can assume the obvious. Or at least a possibility of the obvious.
Evilās future beyond season 3 confirmed by Paramount+
Deeper into the supernatural world we go?
Evil season 4 has been given the go-ahead by Paramount+.
This supernatural chiller premiered its third season just last month, bringing back Katja Herbersā forensic psychologist Dr Kristen Bouchard and Mike Colterās experimental priest-in-waiting David Acosta.
The streaming serviceās president of original scripted series Nicole Clemens shared in a statement (via TVLine): āWe couldnāt be more excited to be terrified by what Robert and Michelle [King] create for season four with our outstanding cast bringing it to life.ā
Evil is in stellar company when it comes to recommissioned TV this year. Apple TV+ wonder Severance landed a second season, Netflixās Heartstopper has a second and third in the making, and Prime Videoās diabolical comic book saga The Boys will be back for a fourth.
When the show was first announced, Colter himself commented on its parallels with modern America.
āThe country is full of people who have very strong opinions about religion and politics,ā he said. āWhat weāre trying to do is to open a discussion between everyone so that, regardless of how you feel, having a strong opinion doesnāt mean you canāt listen. If you can listen, then you might be able to learn something.ā
Co-creator Michelle King went on to acknowledge the pertinence of Evilās central theme: two people can fundamentally disagree with each other but still respect and listen.
āWhat we liked about the show is the ability to show two people with very different ideas about the spiritual. Someoneās whoās truly sceptical and someone who is a true believer,ā she said.
āWe like the idea of them being able to express their feelings and listen to each other respectfully and yet have a dialogue.ā
Evil streams in the US on Paramount+.

Fans Want āHeroes For Hireā With Mike Colter & Finn Jones
According to an article in We Got This Covered, fans are discussing a reteam between Mikeās LUKE CAGE and his THE DEFENDERS co-star Finn Jones as IRON FIST/DANNY RAND. Given the most recent image of Mike with his JESSICA JONES co-star, Krysten Ritter, has been circulating and the possibility of him showing up on the show with Krysten, the article was very dismissive of Finnās inclusion. It erroneously states Finn wasnāt part of the promo Disney+ showed when the Netflix shows made the transfer to their streaming platform. Iād say thatās very disrespectful of him because he was part of it. In fact all of the press for the migration of the shows to Disney+ plus has included Finn in the brand.
Fans demand a āHeroes for Hireā show, Iron Fist included
Slowly but surely, the former Netflix shows are being absorbed back into official Marvel Cinematic Universe canon, with recent events indicating that a potential Heroes for Hire miniseries isnāt the most far-fetched idea in the world.
Not only has the Defenders Saga been rebranded and added to Disney Plus, but Charlie Coxās Matt Murdock returned to the fray in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Vincent DāOnofrioās Wilson Fisk was reintroduced as the big bad of Hawkeye, and Marvelās own website acknowledged the pairās three-season run on a rival streaming service as being part of mainline continuity.
Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter set the internet ablaze when they posed for a photo together, while Jon Bernthal is happy to shout from the rooftops that heās open to playing the Punisher again. With that in mind, perhaps the biggest surprise about MCU fans on Reddit calling on a Heroes for Hire show is the fact that Finn Jonesā Iron Fist is included in the conversation.
Jonesā Danny Rand wasnāt even part of the promos showcasing the Defenders arriving on Disney Plus, so we can probably rule him out of the running. MCU enthusiasts were recently celebrating Simone Missickās Misty Knight, though, while Jessica Henwick admitted she turned down a role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings partly in the hope that Colleen Wing would be brought back into the action.
It might be a long shot, but the churn of content is never going to stop, and there are plenty of far worse pitches out there than getting the band back together in a Heroes for Hire project.
